Overflow Or Grate Type Ceramic Ball Mill Machine for Grinding Coal
Introduction of Ball Mill:
Ceramic ball mill is mainly used for mixing and milling the material. It has dry mill and wet mill. The machine can adopt different liners according to the product requirement. The milling fineness depends on the milling time. The structure is divided into integral type and freestanding type.
1. Low investment.
2. Energy saving.
3. Structure novelty and simple operation.
4. Safe and reliable operation.
The machine consists of feeding part, discharging part, turning part and driving part (reducer, small transmission gear, motors, electrical control) and other major components. Cast steel hollow shaft is lined with removable rotary gear hobbing by casting process. The cylinder inlaid wear-resistant liner has good abrasion resistance.
Ceramic ball mill grinding operation is finished in the cylinder body. When the cylinder rotates, materials ascend to a certain height and then fall along a certain path due to the balls’ gravity. Two forces are generated on the balls inside. One is the force on balls through tangent direction; the other is a opposite force in the contrast to the diameter of balls, as a result of the force generated when the balls slide down. These two forces will constitute a couple for the steel balls. The balls are squeezed between the cylinder and the adjacent steel balls, so the couple can make unequal-sized friction force. The balls will orbit along with the cylinder axis and then fall down, which can produce a strong impact force on the ores in the cylinder body and, as a result, the ores will be crushed. In conclusion, the ores in the cylinder body are mainly crushed by composite effect of peeling force, impact force and extrusion force.
